John Corabi@ Count’s Vampd 7/02/15

When I was a teenager in the 80’s one of my very favorite bands was Motley Crue. I saw them on the Girls, Girls, Girls tour as well as Dr Feelgood. That to me was their last decent album. How I completely missed Motely Crue album with John Corabi in 1994, is beyond me. I remember Hooligans Holiday, but I never listened to the rest of the record. I seriously missed out on this one. When I saw Crabby was coming back to Vampd to play this entire album I went to just see him, as I have become a fan of this enigmatic scruffy singer as of late. I saw him at Vampd do an acoustic set with Mike Tramp a year ago and that was superb, as John spins a mean yarn and he is funny as hell and is really able to sing! He should have replaced Vince Neil forever. This cat is amazing!! This man has SOUL! Now listening to this Crue 94 self titled album I am blown away. It didn’t even sound like a normal Crue album. It sounded BETTER then anything they have ever done! Damn this album is killer!!!
