The Bay Area’s Y&T have been blazing the trails of hard rock since the early 1970’s with non-stop touring and with many of the soon to be biggest rock bands cutting their teeth opening for the energetic foursome. Y&T at its inception were actually called Yesterday & Today and going into the 80’s they shortened the name. The founding fathers of Y&T were the wildly talented and exceptional singer and guitar shredder, Dave Meniketti and bad ass bassist Phil Kennemore, who were the only remaining original members for years,  until Phil’s untimely death from lung cancer in 2011.
